We The Animals by Justin Torres Read this book today, after seeing it reccomended in Esquire.  The writing is, to put it mildly, exceptional.  It’s vivid and alive with tastes, smells and texture. This is a dark read, espcially near the end. It is a riveting read told from the perspective of the youngest of three boys. Read the NYT Book Review here.
